Our Story
Hi, I'm Danielle!
My wife and I began like many of you, searching for sperm donors through well-known sperm banks. As we went through the process, we weren't finding exactly what we wanted. We were struck by how impersonal it felt: sifting through catalogues of donors with a handful of pictures and personal facts. We had trouble grappling with the idea of an anonymous sperm donor and the fact that our children would have multiple half-siblings in the world. To make matters worse, most sperm banks have limited options for diverse donors and still refuse to accept sperm donors who have recently been intimate with men.
After months of searching on sperm banks, we decided to take this process into our own hands to find our perfect donor. Navigating this wasn’t easy, but the journey taught us what we needed to do to find our donor – which we successfully did! We are incredibly excited about who we chose, and as a result of our experience, we were inspired to create Seed Scout to help you find your perfect donor too.
Our commitment to you is that we will help you from start to finish, supporting you throughout your entire donor journey. Based on what you’re looking for, we will find potential known sperm donors and curate options for you.
We will find and thoroughly vet potential candidates to ensure that they are a good match before presenting them to you.
My wife, Paige, is a board-certified pediatrician. She will carefully collect the donor’s family medical history. From there, we will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the donor’s health.
