We are a known sperm donor matchmaking service. We ensure all FDA required steps are followed by your patients. We provide them with attorney options, set them up with psychological consultations, review and cross-match genetic carrier screens to ensure compatibility, find FDA approved clinics/cryobanks for their donor to donate with, and help to arrange shipping.
Our role is to match clients with a donor and walk them through the FDA required steps. We do not collect or manage sperm in any way, but instead assist with selecting an FDA/CLIA certified clinic or cryobank to perform the collections and determine FDA eligibility for the collected vials.
Our required steps:
1. Baseline semen analysis and carrier gene screening for the donor
2. Legal agreement
3. Three psychological consultations (can only be waived if the clinic does not require this)
4. Collections at an FDA approved clinic or cryobank (FDA questionnaire, FDA labs, Physical exam with ultimate FDA eligibility form)
5. Sperm Shipment
1. Diversity: We have donors from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities, with an ability to do a targeted search for clients. Unlike sperm banks, we have a large variety of donors from backgrounds that are otherwise underrepresented by sperm banks.
2. Family Limits: We have a family limit of 3 for each donor. This limits the size of sibling pods and allows a more personalized experience. Banks often have a limit of 25-35, but this only includes families that report a live birth (estimated 30% report to the banks)
3. Updated Medical History: Our donors commit to providing an updated family medical history yearly to the clients.
4. Known Donor: Surveys of donor conceived people support that 90%+ of DCP feel a donor should not be anonymous, and wish they knew the identity of their donor. Many appreciate the ability to get to know and form a relationship with a donor ahead of donations.
